Michael Moon's
Sound Healing Retreat 2008
Aug 22-24
The power of sound has been used to heal, inspire
and create a connection with the sacred since humans have been
around. The human voice is designed for this purpose. When the
voice is freed from the mind magic can happen. On this retreat
we will play, learn, and discover a new relationship to sound,
music, spirit, nature, and ourselves.
This will be a deeply inspiring, relaxing and healing weekend
designed for both musicians and those who think they have no
relationship to music. Music and the voice will be our vehicle
to connect to our authentic selves, each other and beyond.
We will be learning many exciting simple techniques and exercises
connecting us to our authentic voice and learn how to use it
to heal our self and others. For those that have always wanted
to sing but felt they couldnÕt this will be a magic doorway
into your voice. For those that already sing this will open
up the voice in exciting new ways.
We will explore nada yoga (the yoga of sound), overtones, along
with HiesenburgÕs precept that the fundamental building blocks
of this universe are not atoms but music! I will also show how
we can use the ÔunspokenÕ name of God, which is found in the
very DNA of all life on earth to profound effect.
Anyone who plays an instrument is encouraged to bring it and
we will learn a new relationship to it as a fun healing tool.
This will be the perfect summer weekend retreat with a mixture
of fun, healing, and quiet relaxation.
